Prompt: What color describes your personality and why?
Today is day 19 of the WordPress #Bloganuary challenge.
Testing 1, 2,
Instead of simply choosing my favorite color for today’s prompt, I wanted to learn about personality colors and if they hold any meaning.
First up was from My Personality Test where I answered a series of questions that determined my color.
Second stop was a little more involved. With Gold being revealed as my color in the first test, I thought it was odd because there are only four main colors of red, green, blue, and yellow to the personality color wheel. Sure Gold and Yellow coincide but I wanted something solid -like those Meddling Kids I watched on Saturday mornings. I then searched for Max Lüscher who invented the study of each of us having a color. Using Lüscher developments True Color Personality developed the test.
Stars Aligning
Reading the “Yellow” personality color results is a spot-on match for me -like DNA at the scene. The voice of doubt whispers -“with there being only four colors how reliable is this testing though?” I answer with “you heard the Horoscope and the daily devotion from Daily Wisdom For Men.
I hold a firm belief in our heavens, the galaxies, and the stars when aligned. I also lean on spiritual guidance.
The stars, spiritual guidance, and the personality color wheel all have lined up yielding very similar results. Since April of 2022 -I have met each day in my home office looking out the window and saying:
“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love,
for I have put my trust in you.
Show me the way I should go,
for to you I entrust my life.”
I’m normally not one to pick and pluck just one verse here or there but when reading this soon after my heart attack it was a light that matched that of the sun rising just outside my office window.
Psalm 143 is a very dark piece of literature and I needed this ray of light from it.
This morning I’m reassured by Gemini’s stars, the Good Book, and being Yellow.
“Giving up is never your best option unless it’s giving up on doing things your own way. God’s plan for you is simple, even when you think it’s complex. He knows where you need to go and what you need to do, so it’s simple—just follow Him. ” 📷
